Came to this newly opened Ukrainian cafe for breakfast after leaving our car for service at the dealer nearby.It is located right outside Waitara Station.I ordered Nalysnyky, which came with 2 traditional Ukrainian crepe rolls with cottage cheese, with raspberries and blueberries on the side. Portion was generous, and it tasted good.My spouse ordered Syrnyky, which came with 3 thick pancakes stuffed with cottage cheese. Equally tasty!We will be back to try their dining menu soon!

Im obsessed with mavka! Food is amazing and its great to have somewhere to eat Ukrainian food! I’m always thinking about when I want to go back!

I hadn't tried Ukrainian food before, but was very glad to today. The food was delicious, and the desserts were much more filling than they appeared in the photos. The breakfast options were all very nice, the berry syrup and slightly sour cream were a great match with the pancakes. We sampled the Nalysnyky, Syrnyky and French toast. We will return again to try the lunch and dinner menu, as the descriptions all sounded intriguing. The Rogalik was filled with high quality chocolate and the Napoleon cake was dense and moreish. I'm keen to try the other cakes next time they are available.

Absolutely LOVE going here. Every member of staff are lovely, especially the waitress who is the bosses daughter. She is always enthusiastic and has a beautiful smile and adds to the experience of eating at this amazing restaurant. The food is to die for and I would willing empty my bank account for those cabbage rolls and mushroom sauce. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming with lovely decorations and music to immerse you in the beautiful Ukrainian culture. Overall a genuine treasure of a restaurant. Would highly recommend booking a table at every available opportunity :)

I am so glad Mavka is open again. We were lucky to visit on the first night back and it was even better then I remember (or maybe we just missed the food).Everyone is super friendly and helpful, service was quick. We chose the new set menu and it didn't disappoint with many of our favorites.All the food was fresh and delicious, we may have left over stuffed. Which was a good thing!I would definitely recommend Mavka and we will be back again, soon.
